I was called by People Magazine in July to work on an incredible story about Jeff Kepner. He was one of the first people ever to receive a double hand transplant at UPMC Montefiore Pittsburgh.

I am pictured here with Jeff's surgeon, Dr. Lee, famed photographer Len Irish and his assitant.

Jeff is quite an amazing man...so is his family.

It has been one of the most exciting series in all of hockey to watch!

Thank you to the Versus crew and staff for taking me along this great journey, win or lose, I've enjoyed every game, and especially have loved watching this team of ours grow from season to season, and mature to the outstanding players that they have become.

Makeovers are one of my most favorite things to do.

I've personally seen the power of makeup and how it can transform one's self esteem.

Also....having a great photographer, hairstylist and wardrobe stylist helps too and can literally change lives!

This makeover was part of a TV show that I did for Teens On Q Magazine.

It won an emmy and showed me transforming Casey from a normal teenager to super model!

The moral of the story to all teens...every ad that you see, every magazine cover is photo shopped!

Introducing....working out with Sidney Crosby!!

Lucky me, to be able to be a part of another great production with Sidney Crosby....this time, I got to spend the day with Sid & his trainer, on the ice, to film a new on-line work out video...featuring his own line of Reebok clothing, which he had a hand in designing.

Sid has launched his own on-line workout program, sponsored by Reebok & Bell Canada (no relation!).

I was also wardrobe stylist for Sid's new line of Reebok clothing, nice stuff for all # 87 fans!

On location in Irwin, Pa. to shoot an infomercial for the Total Gym, an amazing piece of exerciise equipment that really does work!

This man, John Carleo, is living proof that the Total Gym really does work & all you need is 6-8 minutes a day!

His body was rock solid for 64 years old!

Today my Terrible Towel is waving goodbye to legendary hall of fame sportscaster for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Myron Cope who passed away on 2/27/08.

He was loved all over the world. for his distinctly unique and nasally Pittsburgh voice and as "inventor' of the Terrible Towel.

I've had the pleasure of working wiith Myron several times in my career......my most favorite shoot with him was back in the miid '90's. We shot a music video wiith Myron singing (and dancing) the Macarena! We laughed the entire shoot.

RIP Myron ........

Yesterday was a huge shoot at PNC Park for American Idol- Pittsburgh Steelers quarter back, Ben Roethlisberger, lived out his "dream" of being a rock star! It will air during Superbowl Sunday 2008.

Ben was so much fun to work with & a real pro.

Big Ben: The Next American Idol?

An update from my December 14th news - from Steelers Digest:

Ben Roethlisberger will be a part of the new season of "American Idol" on FOX, but he won't be giving up his day job as an NFL quarterback. Roethlisberger recently filmed a commercial for the show, and FOX will air it during the telecast of Super Bowl XII.

"It was a little crazy," said Roethlisberger. "It was fun. The people you work with usually make it fun. The director and everybody were a lot of fun."

Roethlisberger spent about eight hours on the set but didn't want to reveal too many details about the shoot.

"It ties in with football and the show, and so I will leave it at that," said Roethlisberger.

One of the scenes had Roethlisberger as a player in the locker room daydreaming about a contestant on "American Idol" while the coach of the team was delivering a pep talk.

"You never know how it's gonna end up turning out," he said. "It's a little bit of jumping around, so we'll see how they kind of tie it in together."

Roethlisberger enjoyed the experience, especially since he's a big fan of the opening episodes of the show's new season.

"I love watching the beginning part of it when people just go out and make fools of themselves," said Roethlisberger. "That's the part I watch."

Once again, I had the opportunity to work in West Virginia for First Magazine with photographer, Kathy Wolfe on a feature story about embarrassing moments.

Currently working on the feature film being shot in Pittsburgh, Adventureland.....and what an adventure it's been!

It all takes place in 1987, thus the reason for the big, crimped hair and tons of makeup!

This week we shot at Kennywood Park, with summer like temperatures of 87 degrees in October!

I was hired by Sony Records on 9/24 & 9/25 to work on a country music video with singer, Brad Paisley.

We shot the music video to "Letter to Me" a beautiful song that he wrote about his high school days in Glen Dale, W.Va.

We heard this song about 1,000 times......but I just love the lyrics & melody. Brad is an incredible guitar player......everyone just loved him!

Here's Brad with his high school drama teacher, Mrs. Brinkman, that he immortalized in the song & video. All of her students loved her at John Marshall high school.

She said Brad was always singing & playing music from the time he was little.

He had his entire graduating class of 1991 be extras in his video- how cool was that!

I love teachers & the impact they have can have on young peoples' lives.

We need more Mrs. Brinkmans in the world!
